Maxwell & Webb Potager are featured in The Waterside Inn magazine 2019/20.

The Waterside Inn has retained three Michelin stars for 35 years.

We are so proud to work with these legends and it's a privilege to supply our produce to them.

We will be attending Marlow Market on the 7th December.
We will be selling our Crown Prince pumpkins, Butternut and Little Gem squash, Jerusalem Artichokes and all our beautiful loose chillies, grown locally at our market garden in Cookham.
Come along and buy some truly seasonal produce.
Wildlife in the garden
We welcome wildlife at the Potager.
We plant Nasturtiums and leave patches of nettles for the butterflies, sow wildflowers for the pollinating insects and have a pond for frogs and toads.
We believe that avoiding pests and diseases by good practice in cultivation methods, cultivar selection, garden hygiene and encouraging or introducing natural enemies, should be the first line of control.
To limit the impact of  slugs and snails we use beer traps, nematodes and remove the culprits by hand, with further assistance provided by amphibians.
